Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Lead Floral Designer to elevate our floral shop with creativity, expertise, and leadership. In this role, you will oversee the design and creation of stunning floral arrangements that delight customers and reflect current trends. You will guide a team of floral designers, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship, exceptional customer service, and efficient operations. Your enthusiasm for floral artistry combined with strong organizational skills will inspire your team and enhance the overall shopping experience for our customers. Duties Lead and mentor a team of floral designers to produce innovative and beautiful floral arrangements for various occasions Manage daily floral department operations, including, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maximize sales potential Collaborate with customers to understand their needs, provide expert advice, and create personalized floral designs that exceed expectations Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment adhering to all health and safety standards Oversee floral product quality, freshness, and presentation to ensure customer satisfaction May be required to utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for sales transactions, cash handling, and retail math accuracy Support retail sales efforts by engaging customers in cross-selling related products such as plants, gardening tools, or gift items Skills Extensive knowledge of floral design techniques and trends including those used in event and wedding florals Strong leadership abilities with experience in supervising a creative team in a retail environment Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers Proficiency in retail operations including POS systems, cashiering, stocking, merchandising, and retail math Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail Outstanding customer service skills with a friendly approach that fosters repeat business and positive experiences Join us as a Lead Floral Designer where your creativity blossoms into inspiring designs that brighten lives!
