We are looking for an experienced Floral Designer for our Port Charlotte Florist. The ideal candidate will have significant experience and a flair for design. The Full time Floral Designer will possess extensive experience and a natural flair for design, adept at crafting exquisite, structurally sound floral arrangements using fresh blooms.

Responsibilities:

Design visually compelling and structurally sound floral arrangements, including orchid plant designs. Accurately replicate floral arrangements based on online orders and established specifications. Process, condition, and maintain flowers to ensure optimal freshness and quality. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of the shop. Assist with phone inquiries as needed. Perform additional duties as assigned to support operations.

Job Requirements:

+2 years of design experience in a florist or floral skills This will be verified Capable of standing and crafting flower arrangements for extended periods. Proficient in decision-making, effective communication, following directions, and working autonomously. Proficiency in English Demonstrated punctuality and reliability. Ability to lift weights of up to 50 lbs. or more. Availability on weekends and schedule flexibility Customer service experience and skills are a plus.
