Job Overview Join our vibrant team as a Floral Designer, where creativity blossoms and every arrangement tells a story! In this dynamic role, you will craft stunning floral designs that delight customers and elevate special occasions. Your passion for flowers, keen eye for detail, and excellent customer service skills will help create memorable experiences. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your artistic talent while working in a lively retail environment that values innovation and teamwork. Duties Design beautiful floral arrangements for various occasions, including weddings, events, and everyday displays Assist customers in selecting flowers and related products, providing expert advice on floral care and design options Maintain the freshness and quality of flowers through proper handling, watering, and storage techniques Manage inventory by stocking flowers, supplies, and merchandising floral products attractively on the sales floor Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems for transactions, including cash handling and processing payments accurately Support retail sales efforts by promoting seasonal products, gift items, and complementary accessories Keep the workspace organized, clean, and safe to ensure a pleasant shopping environment for customers and staff Experience Prior experience in floral design or horticulture is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is valued highly Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs Knowledge of gardening, landscape maintenance, lawn care, and general plant care enhances your ability to advise customers effectively Familiarity with retail operations such as cashiering, stocking, merchandising, and retail math ensures smooth daily functions Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while delivering outstanding customer service Demonstrated passion for floral artistry combined with a positive attitude and eagerness to grow professionally Embark on a rewarding journey where your creativity blooms daily!
