Duties Design and assemble fresh floral arrangements, bouquets, and decorative displays tailored to customer preferences and seasonal themes Assist customers in selecting flowers and plants, providing expert advice on floral care, plant identification, and gardening tips Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the floral department, including stocking shelves and merchandising products attractively Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems for sales transactions, handle cash and card payments accurately, and manage retail math efficiently Manage inventory levels by monitoring stock, placing orders for fresh flowers and supplies, and ensuring timely replenishment Provide exceptional customer service through friendly communication via phone or in person, addressing inquiries about floral options or garden products Support outdoor work activities such as lawn care, landscape maintenance, and general gardening tasks to enhance the overall store environment Experience Prior experience in floral design or related horticulture fields is highly preferred; familiarity with floral arrangement techniques is a plus Knowledge of plant identification, gardening practices, lawn care, landscape maintenance, and outdoor work experience enhances your effectiveness in this role Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a valuable asset for serving diverse customers Experience with retail sales environments including cashiering, merchandising, stocking, and POS systems is advantageous Ability to handle cash responsibly and perform retail math accurately in a fast-paced setting Passion for horticulture, gardening, and outdoor work that fuels creativity and enthusiasm in floral design Join us to turn natural beauty into art!
