This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your floral design skills while gaining hands-on experience in retail store Duties Assist experienced floral designers in creating custom floral arrangements for various occasions, ensuring each piece meets quality standards and customer specifications Maintain the freshness and appearance of all floral products through proper watering, trimming, and handling techniques Organize and stock floral supplies, ensuring all materials are clean, fresh, and readily available for daily use Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service by answering questions about floral options, plant care, and seasonal products Support retail sales efforts by merchandising displays attractively and assisting customers with selections Handle cash register transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems and process payments efficiently Contribute to overall store cleanliness, organization, and inventory management to create an inviting shopping environment Skills Strong knowledge of flower identification Experience with floral design, including arranging flowers creatively for different occasions Excellent communication skills in English Proven organizational skills for stocking shelves, managing inventory, and maintaining display standards Familiarity with retail operations such as merchandising, retail math, cash handling, and cashiering using POS system Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly attitude to foster positive shopping experiences Team Player with an understanding and enthusiasm for learning new skills Embark on a rewarding journey where your artistic flair meets the natural beauty of flowers!
