Job Description
Job Overview Established floral and gift shop located south of Grand Rapids is seeking an experienced, energetic, and customer focused team member to join our growing business. This part time position offers approximately 20 to 30 hours per week, including Saturdays, with the potential for increased responsibilties and future management role for the right candidate. Duties Floral design for everyday occasions, sympathy work, weddings and events Assisting customers with floral and gift selections Maintaining attractive retail displays and shop appearance Processing orders and handling daily shop operations Supporting sales growth through exceptional customer service Assist with marketing with include social media, emails, promotions and instore events Skills Previous floral design experience requited Retail gift shop experience preferred Strong customer service and relationship building skills Comfortable seling and recommending products to customers Positive attitude and professional appearance Self motivated, dependable, and able to work independently Strong organizational and multi tasking abilities Creative eye for merchandising and display work Knowledge of social media and email programs
