We pride ourselves on offering full-service floral arrangements with daily deliveries, creating beautiful moments for our customers. Overview We are seeking a passionate and creative Floral Designer to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will craft stunning floral arrangements, assist customers with their floral needs, and contribute to a welcoming shopping environment. Your enthusiasm for flowers and customer service will help us deliver exceptional experiences that leave lasting impressions. Duties Design and create fresh floral arrangements for various occasions, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and artistic flair Assist customers in selecting flowers and related products, providing expert advice on floral design and care Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the floral workspace and display areas Manage inventory levels of flowers, foliage, containers, and accessories through stock replenishment and merchandising Operate cash registers, handle transactions accurately, including cash handling and retail math calculations Support the store's merchandising efforts by arranging displays that highlight seasonal themes and promotions Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent customer service experiences Skills Strong knowledge of floral design principles. Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers Experience with POS systems, cashiering, retail sales, and customer service best practices Organizational skills to manage stock levels, merchandising displays, and floral arrangements efficiently Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions and inventory management Knowledge of e-commerce platforms is beneficial for supporting online orders and sales channels Join us at The Wild Orchid to unleash your creativity in a lively environment where your talent makes a difference!
