We are looking for a talented and experienced Floral Designer to join our team. This is a part-time position with a regular schedule of approximately three days per week, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The schedule alternates every other week: Week 1: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday Week 2: Monday, Friday, and Saturday This schedule includes approximately two Saturdays per month. Because our business is seasonal, candidates must have the flexibility to work additional days and hours during peak floral holidays and high-volume periods, particularly Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, and Christmas. During these periods, the position may temporarily require working up to five or more days per week. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, dependable, and passionate about floral design. This position includes designing fresh floral arrangements, assisting customers with custom orders, and creating seasonal outdoor planters with the support of other team members.

Responsibilities:

Create and design high-quality fresh floral arrangements for everyday orders, holidays, special occasions, weddings, and events Collaborate with the Lead Designer and other members of the design team to develop creative concepts and designs Create seasonal outdoor planters using appropriate plants, flowers, greenery, and seasonal materials Work alongside other team members to prepare and complete seasonal planter projects Assist customers with their floral needs, preferences, and budgets Maintain consistency and quality across all floral design projects Manage multiple orders and projects while meeting deadlines Help manage flower availability and minimize waste Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient design workspace Stay current with floral design trends, seasonal products, and industry best practices

Requirements:

Previous professional floral design experience Proficiency in floral design and strong knowledge of flower varieties and care Ability and willingness to design and assemble seasonal outdoor planters Availability to work approximately two Saturdays per month Flexibility to work additional days and hours during peak holiday and seasonal periods Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Fluency in English is required Please submit a portfolio or examples of your floral design work with your application.
