Job Description
Irene's Floral Design, one of South County's leading floral design studios, has openings for part-time floral designer positions at their busy shop in Oakville. We are particularly in need of help Wednesday-Saturdays, during our busy wedding season. The right candidate for this position will have at least two year's experience in all areas of floral design: Weddings, funerals and every day design.

The duties of the Floral Designer position are as follows:- Assist in the daily completion of orders, ensuring that designs are ready when needed and making sure the designs meet our quality standards.
- Processing fresh product when it arrives, according to best standards.
- Rotating older product and keeping track of product that is beyond its sell date.
- Providing excellent customer service to in-store customers and phone-in customers
- Learn the operation of our point-of-sale platform This person must be able to stand for long periods of time while designing, and must be able to carry heavy buckets of fresh flowers.
