Part-Time Floral Designer — Etowah Are you a creative, motivated floral designer who loves working with fresh flowers? Our busy Etowah flower shop is looking for a part-time team member who has hands-on experience in a retail floral setting and a solid understanding of flowers. We need a self-starter who can help keep our shop running smoothly while producing beautiful arrangements for daily customers and special occasions.

What you will do:

Design and assemble floral arrangements for everyday orders, birthdays, anniversaries, and corporate requests. Construct corsages, boutonnieres, wedding bouquets, and funeral sprays with attention to detail and quality. Greet customers, discuss floral options, and recommend appropriate flowers or plants based on occasion and budget. Care for plants and cut flowers—conditioning, trimming stems, and arranging to maximize vase life. Help maintain a clean, organized workspace and support inventory tasks like restocking and labeling.

About you:

Experience working in a flower shop is required; familiarity with floral mechanics, wiring, and foam use is expected. Knowledge of plants and seasonal varieties is helpful and highly valued. A strong communicator with excellent customer service skills; able to take initiative and work independently. Comfortable working during busy periods and handling multiple orders simultaneously.
