Job Description
Job Summary We are looking for a creative and dependable Floral Designer and Customer Service Specialist to join our team. This position includes designing floral arrangements, helping customers, processing orders, maintaining displays, and assisting with wedding and event décor. The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, comfortable working in a busy retail environment, and has experience with both floral design and customer service. Responsibilities Design and assemble floral arrangements for everyday orders, gifts, weddings, funerals, and special events Help customers choose flowers, plants, gifts, and appropriate arrangements Take orders in person and over the phone Process sales and payments using the POS system Keep the work area, design tables, tools, cooler, and retail space clean and organized Restock flowers, vases, supplies, and gift items Maintain attractive and well-organized store displays Assist with flower processing, preparation, and basic plant care Help prepare, deliver, install, and break down wedding and event décor Provide friendly and professional customer service Work cooperatively with other team members during busy periods and holidays Experience and Qualifications At least 1 year of floral design experience At least 1 year of retail or customer service experience Knowledge of basic floral design techniques and flower care Experience taking phone orders and assisting customers Comfortable using a POS system and handling cash and credit card payments Good communication skills in English Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Ability to stand for extended periods and lift floral supplies, arrangements, and event décor Reliable, punctual, and willing to work weekends and busy floral holidays Wedding or event décor experience is a plus Knowledge of plants and plant care is a plus Join our team and use your creativity to help make everyday moments and special occasions beautiful.
