Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a talented Floral Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for floral design and customer service, along with excellent leadership skills.Duties:
- Oversee all aspects of the floral department, including ordering, stocking, and arranging flowers and plants
- Create visually appealing floral arrangements for various occasions
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their floral needs
- Train and supervise floral department staff to ensure high-quality service and product presentation
- Manage inventory levels and monitor product quality to meet customer demands
- Utilize point-of-sale (POS) systems for transactions and inventory management
Skills:
- Proficiency in floral design techniques and arrangement styles
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance to ensure plant health and longevity
- Multilingual abilities are a plus for effective communication with diverse customers
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell and cross-sell products
- Experience in garden or plant care is beneficial
- Familiarity with cash register operations and retail sales practices
