Overview Join us in launching an exciting new tattoo shop located in the vibrant heart of the 39th Street District, perfectly timed to celebrate Pride! We're seeking passionate, energetic professionals who are eager to bring bold ideas to life and help establish a standout destination for tattoo artistry. Whether you're an experienced tattoo artist or a store management enthusiast, this is your chance to be part of a lively, inclusive environment where artistry meets community spirit. Our shop operates on a fair 60/40 commission split, ensuring your talent and dedication are rewarded generously. Duties Create custom tattoo designs with attention to detail, color theory, and artistic flair that resonate with diverse clients Perform high-quality tattooing while adhering strictly to sanitation and safety standards Manage daily store operations, including scheduling appointments, maintaining inventory, and ensuring a clean, welcoming environment Provide exceptional customer service by guiding clients through design choices and aftercare instructions Maintain thorough records of each tattoo procedure, client preferences, and health/safety compliance Educate clients on tattoo care, safety protocols, and the significance of their chosen designs Collaborate with team members to foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that celebrates individuality and community pride Requirements Proven experience in tattooing with a strong portfolio showcasing skill in line work, shading, color application, and illustration techniques Knowledge of sanitation practices and ability to uphold strict hygiene standards at all times Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with clients and team members alike Ability to manage store operations efficiently while maintaining high-quality service standards Basic first aid knowledge to handle minor injuries or emergencies confidently Strong customer service orientation with a passion for helping clients express themselves through art Familiarity with sales techniques and store management principles to support business growth and client retention Join us in creating a vibrant space where artistry thrives and community bonds are strengthened!
