Immediately Job Description Lower Merion High School is looking for a Technical Coach•Theater for the 2026-2027 Season
Position Requirements:
have good availability 3PM-6PM most weekdays and some Saturdays 10AM-2PM counsel students in theatrical production, management, and design techniques throughout three-production seasons supervise students in the wood shop and theatrical spaces maintain safe practices and organization mentor students through scenic design, lighting design, as well as scenic fabrication, installation and crew management oversee any rigging the students want to do coordinate prop and set dressing rental pick ups coordinate lumber, paint and other material orders and deliveries/pickups collaborate with Head Coach and Assistant Coaches to support students It is important to note that our coaches serve as supports and guides through this theatrical production process. They do not write, direct, design, or run the shows. Students take on these positions and responsibilities; the coaches offer inspiration, expertise, mentorship, and training when necessary.
