Job Description

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
Provide prompt and courteous service to customers according to company policies Maintain floral case and display areas, indoors and outdoors Water plants, remove dead flowers, yellow leaves and rearrange displays as directed Write up orders for plants, flowers, balloons, etc. Unpack deliveries, check quality of product, and verify against invoices. Report any discrepancies to the manager Make fruit baskets, gift baskets, floral arrangements, etc. as directed Maintain knowledge of all products sold in the department Fill helium balloons as needed. Maintain shelves, cases, floors and storage areas in clean condition Perform other functions as requested.
Requirements:
Must be a self starter and able to take direction well. Also must be able to work well with others as a groupMust be 18 years of age
Physical Demands:
Stand on feet, bend forward, stoop or walk for the majority of the time on duty Work in cooler for short periods of time Lift cases/containers of product up to 35 pounds
