About Us Blue Violet Flower Studio is a boutique florist specializing in everyday floral arrangements, sympathy flowers, weddings, and events. We are passionate about creating beautiful floral designs while providing exceptional customer service and meaningful experiences for our clients. Position Overview We are seeking a creative, dependable, and customer-focused Floral Designer to join our team. This position is primarily focused on floral design, with occasional front desk and customer service responsibilities as needed. The ideal candidate is passionate about flowers, enjoys working in a collaborative environment, and takes pride in producing high-quality work. Floral Design Responsibilities Design and create fresh floral arrangements for daily orders, sympathy work, holidays, weddings, and events Process, condition, and maintain fresh flowers and plants Assist with wedding and event floral production and installations Maintain high design standards and attention to detail Assist with inventory management and flower care Keep design and storage areas clean, organized, and well-stocked Prepare and package floral orders for pickup and delivery Customer Service & Front Desk Responsibilities (As Needed) Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner Answer phones and assist customers with floral purchases and inquiries Take, enter, and process orders accurately through our POS and floral software systems Assist customers with flower selections, gifts, and special requests Support wedding and event consultations as needed Follow up with clients regarding proposals, payments, and event details Assist with general administrative and office tasks Qualifications Professional floral design experience Strong customer service and communication skills Proficiency with computers, including email, web-based software, and point-of-sale systems Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods Availability to work additional hours during peak floral holidays, including Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Christmas, and other major floral events Desired Qualities Positive attitude and strong work ethic Creative eye for color, texture, and floral design Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented Team player willing to assist wherever needed Passion for flowers, weddings, and special events Benefits Paid 30-minute lunch break One week of paid time off annually Employee discount Flexible scheduling when business needs allow Opportunities for professional growth and creative development To Apply Please submit your resume, portfolio (if available), and a brief introduction outlining your floral design experience and interest in joining Blue Violet Flower Studio.
