Job Description

JPart-Time Floral Designer Tom's Florist & Gifts - Smyrna, TN Tom's Florist & Gifts is looking for an experienced Floral Designer to join our team. We are a busy, locally owned flower shop seeking someone who is creative, dependable, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Schedule (Required): Monday through Friday 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM Approximately 30 hours per week No evenings or

Sundays What You'll Do:

Design fresh floral arrangements for everyday occasions, sympathy, birthdays, anniversaries, and special events. Assist customers in person and over the phone with floral selections. Process customer orders using our point-of-sale system. Receive and process fresh flower shipments. Keep the floral cooler, showroom, and work areas clean and organized. Water and care for fresh flowers and plants. Help maintain inventory and restock supplies as needed. Work with the team to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time.

We're Looking For Someone Who:

Has previous professional floral design experience. Can create arrangements without step-by-step instruction. Is reliable and able to work the required Monday-Friday schedule. Enjoys providing excellent customer service. Works well independently and as part of a small team. Has good organizational and time management skills. Can lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods. If you enjoy creating beautiful floral designs and being part of a friendly local business, we'd love to hear from you.
