We are seeking an experienced Floral Designer who can confidently create beautiful arrangements while helping maintain the daily operations and standards that our customers expect. This position is ideal for someone who is creative, dependable, organized, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced floral environment. Responsibilities Floral Design Design fresh floral arrangements for daily orders Create sympathy and funeral arrangements Design wedding and event florals Execute custom floral requests Maintain high design and quality standards Production & Order Management Review order tickets and customer instructions Verify upgrades, add-ons, and special requests Monitor order changes and cancellations Ensure accuracy and attention to detail Assist with production planning and workflow Flower Care & Inventory Process and care for fresh flowers Maintain flower quality and hydration Monitor inventory levels Identify flowers requiring reorder or replacement Shop Operations Follow daily opening and closing procedures Complete required checklists Communicate effectively with team members Maintain clean and organized work areas Support delivery preparation and quality control Qualifications Required 1 year minimum floral design experience Experience designing sympathy arrangements Experience with wedding and event florals Ability to work independently Strong attention to detail Reliable attendance and communication Ability to lift 20 pounds Ability to stand for extended periods Preferred Retail florist experience eFlorist, Dove, or florist POS experience Wedding consultation experience Leadership or shop management experience What Success Looks Like Consistently produces quality floral designs Follows procedures and instructions Communicates effectively with the team Maintains reliability and accountability Supports a positive and productive shop environment Full-Time Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays during holidays, weddings, and peak floral seasons.
