Job Description
Graphic Designer / Sign Production Specialist Join Our Team! We are a small, locally owned sign shop looking for an experienced Graphic Designer who enjoys seeing projects through from concept to completion. This position requires strong design skills, excellent customer communication, and previous sign shop experience. Responsibilities Design and prepare artwork for a variety of sign products including banners, vehicle graphics, storefront signage, decals, and more. Create layouts and proofs from initial concept through final production. Communicate directly with customers to understand project needs, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction throughout the entire process. Prepare print-ready files and production artwork using Adobe Illustrator. Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines. Coordinate with production staff to ensure accurate and efficient completion of jobs. Review artwork for quality, accuracy, and production requirements. Maintain organized project files and customer records. Qualifications Previous sign shop experience required. Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator. Strong understanding of large-format printing, vinyl graphics, and sign production processes. Ability to create designs from concept through final production. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience with Adobe Photoshop is a plus.
