Full-Time -Exempt Overview:
Outdoor Custom Sportswear is looking to add to our art team. The candidate must be a collaborator, strong work ethic, and a forward thinker. The position will be a part of a growing creative team producing graphics for the college market.Responsibilities:
- Convert graphics that are ready for a screen print, embroidery, heat seal, web images
- Work with originating departments to create and manage art requested by customer
- Develop visual elements for print and digital needs
- Build art approval pages for customer approval before product moves to production
- Monitoring email questions from independent sales representatives, account services, and customers
- Provide phone support to independent sales representatives, account services, and customers
- Product knowledge of Columbia and Adidas apparel
- Focus will be production art with opportunity for some design work when collaborating with customer
- Assist as needed in other department during high volume seasons
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 2-3 Years of experience
- Experience with sportswear/apparel design
- Background in embroidery and screen print required
- Initiative-taking and able to manage multiple projects
- Creative and forward thinker when it comes to graphic design
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
- Position requires attention to accuracy and detail
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Acrobat, and basic knowledge of Office 365
- Ability to multi-task variety of responsibilities
- Be able to work independently and manage individual projects.
