In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of machinery and equipment used in our production processes. Your expertise will ensure optimal machine performance, minimize downtime, and support continuous operational efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills to contribute to a dynamic industrial environment. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance along with rebuild on all machine shop equipment, including lathes, mills, grinders, and drill presses. Troubleshoot mechanical issues using precision measuring instruments, schematics, electrical blueprints, and engineering troubleshooting techniques. Conduct electrical diagnostics and repairs on machinery utilizing tools such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and low voltage testers. Repair and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems, ensuring proper operation through analysis of schematics and system diagnostics. Operate equipment such as fork lifts safely to access elevated or hard-to-reach machinery components. Read electrical systems schematics and blueprints accurately to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions. Collaborate with manufacture on troubleshooting complex equipment problems involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and industrial electrician practices. Support the installation of new machinery by following detailed schematics and safety protocols while ensuring compliance with industry standards. Skills Extensive experience in manufacturing facilities with a solid understanding of industrial maintenance practices. Proficiency in electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting electrical systems, and performing electrical maintenance using tools like ammeters and ohmmeters. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems. Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals related to electrical systems and mechanical components. Experience operating fork lifts safely for elevated maintenance tasks. Knowledge of motor rebuild is a plus for maintaining equipment within the facility. Skilled in analyzing problems quickly using analysis skills to develop effective solutions efficiently. Good communication skills in English for clear documentation and collaboration across teams. Ability to perform electrical troubleshooting on low voltage circuits using appropriate testing devices such as ammeters and ohmmeters. Industrial mechanic experience combined with technical sales experience is advantageous for understanding customer needs related to equipment repairs or upgrades.
