About the Role Rare Beauty Brands is seeking a Graphic Designer to join our Marketing team supporting the Kate Somerville brand. This is a hands-on execution role for a designer who is detail-oriented, collaborative, and energized by producing high-quality, on-brand creative across packaging, product launches, digital commerce, retail, and social. This role will play an important part in evolving the Kate Somerville visual identity through packaging updates, innovation launches, and merchandising. The Graphic Designer partners closely with senior creative leadership and cross-functional teams to bring creative briefs to life, working within established brand guidelines and creative direction.
Responsibilities:
Execute On-Brand Creative Design Design and produce creative assets across digital e-commerce (site, email, paid media, Amazon), social media, and retail education materials Design packaging updates, line extensions, secondary packaging, and promotional kits while maintaining brand consistency under the direction of senior designers Assist with visual merchandising, fixture, and in-store display design Support event activation and experiential design materials Produce product renderings and support photo retouching and compositing Translate Creative Briefs Into Design Solutions Work from creative briefs and established brand guidelines to produce visually compelling, on-brand designs Support innovation and NPI initiatives through concepting and visual asset creation Incorporate feedback from senior designers and creative leadership to refine work and maintain brand consistency Support Creative Workflow & Production Participate in daily creative stand-ups to stay aligned on priorities and timelines Manage assigned project timelines and communicate proactively on status and blockers Use the creative project management platform (Wrike) to track and update assigned tasks Support photoshoot logistics, including shot list preparation and on-set assistance as directed by senior designers Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Marketing, Ecommerce, Innovation, Social, and Operations teams to support day-to-day creative requests Participate in relevant cross-functional meetings for assigned projects Support the creation of internal presentations and pitch materials as requested Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field preferred 2-4 years of professional graphic design experience; beauty, fashion, or consumer brand experience a plus Strong portfolio demonstrating beauty packaging design alongside digital, retail, and campaign execution. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite; familiarity with Wrike or similar project management tools a plus Strong organizational and time-management skills with close attention to detail Clear communicator who collaborates well across teams Ability to take direction and feedback well while working efficiently under deadlines What Success Looks Like Creative deliverables are on-brand, high-quality, and delivered on time Design work supports brand consistency across all touchpoints Cross-functional partners feel supported and well served on day-to-day requests Feedback from creative leadership is incorporated efficiently Workflow tools (e.g., Wrike) are used consistently to keep projects on track Why RBB? Compensation range:
$80,000 - $85,000 plus bonus potential. The range takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate's skills, experience, education level, and other job-related factors. The position is eligible for medical, dental, and vision benefits, unlimited paid time off, and the Company's 401k plan with match. Location This role may be performed where the company is currently registered to do business: California, Colorado, Florida, Kentucky, Massachusetts, New Jersey, North Carolina, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas, and Washington.
