Respond with Compassionate Action We are seeking a Senior Graphic Designer to join our Communications team in Boone, NC. Through humanitarian work, the goal and purpose of Samaritan's Purse are to help people in Jesus' name and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In the role of Senior Graphic Designer, you will have the opportunity to: Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ Develop multiple creative design options that clearly support defined communication and marketing objectives, partnering closely with Communications staff to advance the ministry's mission and message. Receive and thoughtfully evaluate departmental feedback, working cooperatively with Communications colleagues to refine projects while honoring shared goals and maintaining a Christ-centered spirit. Manage projects with excellence, meeting deadlines while striving to maximize both the quality and productivity of creative work. Collaborate with the Creative Services Manager and fellow designers to resolve production, design, and editorial needs and help meet pressing departmental priorities. Uphold the highest professional standards in manufacturing and reproduction by carefully reviewing proofs and participating in on-site press approvals, ensuring finished communications reflect excellence and stewardship. Serve with Excellence As a qualified candidate, you will have the following skills and experience: Bachelor's degree and ten (10) or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Ability to work under pressure within short timelines, and be willing to work beyond normal hours to meet project deadlines Prior experience with editorial design layout Strong typography skills Ability to work with minimal technical assistance Thorough knowledge of offset printing production issues Twelve credit hours of college-level Biblical studies required What are the benefits?
