(TBE) is a full-service, professional aviation engineering firm focused on the planning, design, and construction for airports in North Carolina, South Carolina , Virginia and Florida. Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina for over 28 years, TBE employs more than 90 professionals. TBE is seeking a talented and detail-oriented entry-level Graphic Designer with one to two years of professional experience to support the company's branding, marketing, business development, and proposal initiatives. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Branding, this role is responsible for creating and producing high-quality proposals, presentations, print and digital materials, and event graphics that align with TBE's brand standards and project requirements. The Graphic Designer will develop layouts, format content, update graphics, prepare production-ready files, and maintain organized creative assets. The ideal candidate combines creativity with strong technical and organizational skills, has excellent attention to detail, and can manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. This collaborative role requires the ability to follow established brand standards while communicating complex technical information through clear, accurate, and engaging visuals.
Key Responsibilities Proposal Support:
Design, format, and produce RFQ/RFP and SOQ materials, including layouts, infographics, charts, resumes, project sheets, and cover graphics. Ensure materials meet brand standards, client requirements, and production deadlines.
Marketing Collateral:
Create high-impact print and digital collateral such as brochures, pitch decks, and ads to support multi-channel campaigns, corporate events, and recruiting initiatives.
Digital & Social Media Content:
Create and help schedule content for LinkedIn and other approved digital platforms, highlighting projects, technical expertise, company culture, and recruiting efforts.
Brand Stewardship:
Apply and maintain brand guidelines across print and digital communications to ensure a consistent, professional visual identity.
Design & Layout:
Utilize typography, color, imagery, and layout principles to produce professional graphics for print and digital channels.
File Preparation:
Prepare accurate, high-quality files for print, digital distribution, presentations, and internal use. Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders as needed to support production.
Collaboration:
Partner with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Business Development, Engineering, and Leadership to translate complex, technical concepts into clear visual solutions.
Project Management:
Organize design files, manage multiple assignments, incorporate feedback, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Tools & Technical Skills Proficiency in
Adobe Creative Suite/Cloud:
Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat, on Mac and PC platforms Strong skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. Strong knowledge of typography, layout, color, image resolution, bleeds, and production requirements for both print and digital formats. Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Strong organizational, file-management, and quality-control skills. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Marketing, or related field One to two years of relevant design and production experience gained through internships, freelance work, or professional employment. Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate, production-ready files. Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to take direction and incorporate feedback.
