00107126 Internal/External Position Description Valley City State University seeks a creative, detail-oriented Graphic Designer to support the university's marketing and communications efforts. This position is responsible for developing professional print and digital materials that promote and enhance VCSU's image, reputation, and brand. The Graphic Designer collaborates with university offices and programs to create high-quality visual communications while ensuring compliance with university brand and graphic standards. This is a part-time position, working 5-6 hours per day, 3 days per week. The position will run from August 24, 2026, until October 30, 2026. Duties may include, but are not limited to: Provide graphic design services for VCSU offices, departments, and programs. Create professional marketing and communication materials that promote and enhance the VCSU brand and image. Work proficiently with professional graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Cloud applications such as InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Maintain project files, digital assets, and appropriate records in both original and backup formats. Obtain print specifications, estimates, and production schedules as needed. Ensure all materials adhere to VCSU visual identity standards and graphic guidelines. Minimum Qualifications 2 Years of professional graphic design experience and knowledge of Adobe Suite products, including Photoshop and InDesign. Preferred Qualifications 5 years of professional graphic design experience and a degree in graphic design, communications, or a related field.
