Graphic Designer

You'll enjoy coming to work every day if you get, want, and have the ability to:

• Design creative signs
• Prepare final fabrication layout by proofreading finished copy and art for colors, sizes, spelling, errors, fonts and logo specs to determine fabrication feasibility
• Prepare work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials.
• Format design files for fabrication
• Layout shop drawings and determine methods of fabrication, size of material and equipment to be used
• Verify design layouts and specifications ensure all information is accurate and consistent
• Reads and interprets blueprints, work orders, and related documentation to determine methods and sequence of operations and dimensional and finish specifications.
• Knowledge of materials needed
• Maintain and update work order information for each job
• Assist with permitting You'll have success here if you value clear processes and can demonstrate competency in the following:
• Basic knowledge of sign assembly, channel letter assembly and electrical wiring
• Microsoft Office
• Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator & Acrobat)
• Software and database programs, printers/plotters, scanners, lamination equipment, sign engraving equipment and sublimation
• Graphic design skills
• Technical layouts / shop drawing skills
• Attention to detail
• Results-oriented

Physical Demands:

• Long periods of sitting (4-6 hrs per day) We train our teams to help them succeed, and everyone on our team supports each other's success.
