Full Job Description Overview:
Touro University is seeking a full-time Graphic Designer. The role will be housed at the Times Square Campus and will work primarily for the Department of Marketing and Communications, reporting to the Executive Director of Marketing and Communications. This position will design digital and print pieces including brochures, publications, invitations, ads, flyers, posters, eblasts, social media graphics, templates, and branded materials, and ensure all internal and external communications effectively display the Touro brand. The Graphic Designer will service the design needs of Touro University Nevada as well. This position also supports the web graphic design needs from Touro University as assigned and supports the social media team with video editing of reels.Responsibilities:
Design digital and print pieces including invitations, flyers, ads, eblasts, social graphics, and branding materials for Touro University and Touro University Nevada. Produce collateral materials including publications, brochures, fact sheets, fundraising materials, continuing education programs and more. Oversee the implementation and management of visual brand, updating style guidelines as necessary. Create design templates for newsletters, presentations, eblasts, digital signage and more in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Mailchimp and PowerPoint. Create all collateral materials and publications for annual events such as graduation and other campus-wide events. Maintain and manage the Listserv and Mailchimp products to ensure they are updated and accurate. Create and distribute internal campus-wide announcements to appropriate lists as needed. Edit reels for Touro's social media channels including Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Use excellent grammar and proofreading skills to ensure all published items are accurate and appropriate. Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Visual Arts, Communications, Marketing, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in graphic design, branding preferably in an educational or non-profit setting.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, i.e. all Adobe Products (Photoshop, Adobe InDesign), PowerPoint, Canva as well as CapCut Pro, Adobe Premier Pro. Familiarity with Loomly, Sprout Social, Meta Suite, and Instagram analytics a plus. Strong understanding of branding principles and visual communication. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. Strong organizational, managerial and problem-solving skills. Superior grammar and proofreading skills and the ability to multi-task as well as work independently. Experience and proficiency with email marketing platforms, including Mailchimp.Travel:
Some travel to Touro campuses may be required.Maximum Salary:
USD $75,000.00/Yr.Minimum Salary:
