Job Description
- Works with manager to ensure designs are in alignment with evolving brand standards and maintain brand consistency
- Leads junior designers by reviewing drafts to ensure quality of work and provides them with growth opportunities to help their individual development
- Consistently meets project deadlines and maintains high level of work while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborates with project managers, business partners and external partners to ensure effective project from start to completion
- Quickly adapts to feedback and maintains a flexible approach
- Conceptualize campaigns and partners on creative presentations
- Demonstrates self-motivation to continuously improve both creative and technical skills
- Embraces opportunities to personally grow and develop skills and competencies.
- Keeps up with current trends in marketing, design and applicable design technology Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience at an in-house creative department or design agency
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of graphic design projects and concepts.
- Can-do attitude and resourceful self-starter who gets things done
- Must be well-organized, have strong time-management skills and able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment with shifting priorities
- Proven ability to translate design challenges into clear, user-friendly experiences
- Artistic and creative talent - a strong sense of style with knowledge of current design trends
- Expert knowledge in graphic, pre- and post-production processes; maintain relationships with vendors
- Strong understanding of design principles including composition, color and hierarchy of messaging, emphasizing the use of typography and photography in layout
- Understanding of web-based design principles including readability and functionality
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team as well as work individually
- Adaptable, quick learner that seeks feedback and responds effectively and appropriately to creative feedback Education
- Bachelor or associate degree in graphic design, visual communications, marketing or equivalent experience
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) a must
- Knowledge of Digital Adobe Software (After Effects & Premiere) is ideal
