A Graphic Designer works with text and images to create design for printed material or web sites. Develops visual designs, such as a logo, that establish an identity or brand for an organization, business or campaign; uses design skills to improve the visual impact of advertising messages, reports, books or websites. May produce documents and printed materials using desktop publishing software and equipment. May work for a publishing company or provide printed business or marketing material for business clients.

Job Description

This position will report directly to the business owner and will be responsible for finalizing the dimensions and layout of production drawings (2D and 3D). The position will also be responsible for pricing, generating proposals, and communicating directly with clients. Our projects include closets, mud rooms, pantries, laundry rooms, garages, entertainment centers, wall beds, etc. These are all 100% custom projects.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Strong computer skills and attention to detail Initiative with problem solving Team player

PREFERRED SKILLS 3D

modeling experience in Cabinet Vision, AutoCAD, Rhino, Sketchup, CabMaster, or similar software

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Excellent communicator (written and verbal) Must be able to work with designers and production staff

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Client focused Analytical and planning skills Ability to multi-task
