Job Description
Digital Graphic Designer (full-time, remote) Support some of the most exciting brands in Washington, DC and nationally! This is an opportunity for creative self-starters who thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced work environment.
Responsibilities:
WEB Design and develop wireframes and mockups for websites and mobile applications Edit and refine website concepts using Figma and/or Adobe
SOCIAL MEDIA
Create engaging social media graphics and videos
DIGITAL ADS
Design creative assets including graphics and videos for digital paid ad campaigns
COMMUNICATION
Design and format email in Mailchimp and Constant Contact PRINT Design signs, newsletters, brochures, promotional items and other printed collateral OVERALL Develop visual branding guidelines including logos, fonts, usage and creative direction Conduct research on competitors, market trends, and new visual digital design technologies and share with the team Collaborate with other digital graphic designers, website developers, branding executives, project managers, SEO specialists, and video/photographers to align technical execution with creative vision Communicate directly with clients and internal team members to gather requirements, present ongoing projects, and provide updates or recommendations Maintain clear documentation of designs, updates, deadlines and processes for internal use and client interaction
Requirements:
5+ years of professional experience in digital graphic design Portfolio showcasing a strong design aesthetic across web, social media, digital ads, communication and print including static and video examples An understanding of responsive design principles, accessibility standards, and UI/UX best practices Proficient with web design platforms and tools like Figma, Webflow and WordPress Video expertise in editing, color correction, animation, and sound for elevated storytelling Expert in
Adobe Creative Suite:
Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects Understanding of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, basic JavaScript and CMS frameworks Experience with email marketing tools, such as MailChimp and Constant Contact Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with an attention to detail Strong analytical and organizational skills Full-time, remote Monday - Friday, weekends as needed DMV location is not required, but preference will go to applicants in the DC, MD, and VA area.
