Graphic Designer Part Time (Hybrid: both in person and remote

Immediate opening for a graphic designer to be the Design Director of 37-year-old award-winning Portland Monthly Magazine. Our motto is to always offer our readers an "Extraordinary Perspective". Flexible working location--your home office via telecommunication, AND ours for a hybrid working situation. Must live in the Greater Portland Maine area. General work week is 20 hours, M-T 9:45-3:15 (with a 1/2 hour break). Must have Graphics Design degree, and prefer print experience, (especially magazine publication experience). Regularly scheduled mandatory Zoom meetings. Must be proficient in InDesign, Photoshop, etc. Must have your own reliable hardware, internet connection, software and phone and access to Indesign on the Cloud as well as reliable transportation, and a driver's license. Confident, honest, self-starter who loves the written word and print media.
