POSITION OVERVIEW
The Lead Graphic Designer is responsible for driving creative excellence and leading the execution of high-impact visual design across brand, digital, and marketing channels. This role combines strong hands-on design expertise with leadership capabilities—guiding creative direction, mentoring designers, and delivering compelling, consumer-centric experiences. As a key member of the in-house creative team, this role translates brand strategy into distinctive visual storytelling while ensuring consistency across all touchpoints and channels. The Lead Graphic Designer partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders to bring ideas to life—from concept through final delivery.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the development and execution of visual design across digital, eCommerce, social, and marketing channels. Translate brand strategy into innovative creative concepts and visual systems. Ensure consistency and quality across all creative outputs, maintaining strong adherence to brand guidelines. Provide clear creative direction, feedback, and mentorship to designers and agency partners. Collaborate with key internal creative team members in the development of design concepts across all media. Drive storytelling through compelling design that enhances consumer engagement and brand perception. Deliver high-quality design assets (e.g., digital campaigns, PDPs, emails, social, websites). Create layouts, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design ideas and concepts. Oversee design projects from concept to final production, including reviews and approvals. Ensure designs meet best practices across digital platforms and channels. Mentor, coach, and support designers, fostering creativity and skill development. Help prioritize workload and manage creative timelines across projects. Promote best practices, tools, and processes to enhance team efficiency and output quality. Contribute to building a high-performing, collaborative creative culture. Partner with Marketing, Brand, eCommerce, and Content teams to align on objectives and deliverables. Participate in brief development, kickoffs, and project reviews. Collaborate with external agencies and production partners when applicable. Support content calendar planning and execution to meet business priorities.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or related field strongly preferred. At least 6 years of experience in graphic design, digital design, or creative design strongly preferred. Experience in CPG, eCommerce, or agency environments preferred. Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and FIGMA is required. Direct to consumer experience is strongly desired.
SKILLS:
Deep understanding of digital design, UX principles, and content best practices. Strong conceptual thinking, art direction, and visual problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. The approximate pay range for this position is $105,000 to $120,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
