® (CCAR), communications plays a central role in how we support our members and represent the organization within the community. This role is directly connected to the day-to-day work of engagingREALTORS
®, brokers, and the public through clear, consistent, and impactful messaging. CCAR offers a collaborative, team-oriented environment where communications is not just support, but a key function that drives engagement, visibility, and organizational success. This is an opportunity to take ownership of communications execution, contribute ideas, and make a meaningful impact across multiple platforms. CCAR is seeking a Communications Specialist (aka Copywriter & Graphic Designer) to manage and execute communications efforts across digital and print platforms while maintaining a strong and consistent brand presence. What You'll do Strategy Execution & Messaging Alignment Execute communications strategy as directed by the CEAO to ensure alignment across all platforms Translate organizational priorities into clear, consistent, and engaging messaging Maintain a unified voice, tone, and narrative across all communications Support ongoing communications planning and refine messaging to ensure alignment with organizational priorities Content Development & Brand Execution Develop, create, and manage written and visual content across digital and print platforms, including social media, email, and visual assets such as logos, event materials, and organizational deliverables Ensure all communications meet brand standards for quality, consistency, and effectiveness Develop content that supports organizational initiatives, campaigns, and engagement efforts Manage content development from concept through execution, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external vendors as needed Digital Platforms & Performance Management Manage and maintain website, member portal, and social media platforms Plan, schedule, and publish content aligned with organizational messaging Monitor engagement metrics including reach, engagement, and growth Recommend and implement improvements based on data and performance insights Campaigns, Events & Member Engagement Execute communications campaigns and initiatives Support communications for events including messaging, materials, and coordination Contribute to member engagement strategies that enhance visibility and participation Track and report on campaign and event performance metrics Manage and revamp the CCAR Brand Ambassadors program to increase engagement and participation Develop and implement strategies to grow and sustain the Brand Ambassadors program Public Relations, Operations & Collaboration Support media outreach efforts and maintain relationships with local media partners Identify opportunities to strengthen brand visibility and organizational presence Maintain organized content libraries, assets, and communication materials Collaborate across departments to ensure alignment and timely execution of communications Submit all content for final review and approval by the CEAO in a timely mannerWhat We're Looking For Required:
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Graphic Design, or a related field Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with attention to voice, tone, and audience Experience developing both written and visual content across multiple platforms Familiarity with digital platforms, social media management, and analytics tools Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities Detail-oriented with a commitment to consistency and quality Collaborative, proactive, and solutions-oriented Clear and confident communicator Self-directed with the ability to execute within established strategiesPreferred:
3-5 years of relevant experience Experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics Experience with media relations, public relations, or press outreach Experience supporting campaigns, events, or organizational initiatives Experience working in an association, nonprofit, or membership-based organization Work Schedule & Environment Full-time position Typical schedule: Monday- Friday, 8:30 AM
