; Position Details Position Information Job Title Student Assistant (Graphic Designer) - RAM Page Position Type Student Division Academic Affairs Department Communication and Mass Media Job Description This posting will remain open to generate a pool of qualified student applicants for available positions during the semester. Creating art/graphic and other creative content for the Ram Page. Subject to relevant job expectations (attached) that are complementary to the essential job duties listed below. Please attach your resume, highlighting relevant experience/expertise, to your application. Essential job duties include: Serving as a liaison with the Ram Page editor and faculty adviser. Creating art/graphic and other creative content that meets Angelo State branding standards. On the job training provided. Serving as a liaison with the Angelo State Communications and Marketing Department to ensure compliance with branding and other relevant policies. Having basic skillset to function as a photographer in case Ram Page photographer is not available. On the job training provided if necessary or requested. Being able to meet tight deadlines and accommodate short notices if necessary. Assisting Ram Page editor in various tasks commensurate with the employee's position, skillset and abilities. Attending and participating in all Ram Page staff meetings (with the exception for extenuating circumstances established on case-by-case basis). Being available for at least some department-initiated events that involve Ram Page (e.g., welcoming visitors from high schools touring the campus and introducing them to Ram Page, etc.). Required Qualifications Must be a currently enrolled student who is registered for classes. Basic knowledge of graphic design and layout. Basic knowledge of photo/graphic design/publishing applications (Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, etc.). Preferred Qualifications Advance knowledge of graphic design and layout. Work experience as graphic designer.
