Job Description
Are you a passionate and creative graphic designer looking to gain hands-on experience in the exciting world of sports and entertainment? The Sherman Shadowcats are seeking a talented Graphic Design Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our brand identity, engage with our fanbase, and develop your skills in a fast-paced professional environment. Key Responsibilities Develop compelling visual content for various digital and print platforms, including social media, website, and in-venue displays. Design engaging graphics for social media campaigns, player announcements, and game day promotions. Create professional sponsorship materials and presentations that effectively communicate value to partners. Assist in the creation of ticketing graphics, promotional flyers, and other marketing collateral. Contribute to the conceptualization and design of theme night visuals and special event branding. Design and update website graphics and other digital assets to maintain a fresh and engaging online presence. Collaborate with the marketing and communications teams to ensure all visual assets align with the Sherman Shadowcats brand guidelines and overall strategy. Support the design needs for the 2027 schedule release and other key organizational initiatives. Undertake other design-related tasks as assigned, contributing to the overall visual success of the organization. Qualifications Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/certificate in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Marketing, or a related field. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is essential. Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. A portfolio showcasing relevant design projects (academic or personal). Passion for sports and a basic understanding of the sports industry is a plus. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
