The ideal candidate provides comprehensive design support for publications, presentations, infographics, exhibits, and outreach materials. They will create visually engaging, web- and print-ready graphics while developing standardized templates and maintaining a centralized design repository. They will also ensure all products are 508 compliant and will collaborate with senior staff to deliver impactful visuals that enhance understanding of mission and programs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Providing graphic design support as identified for publications, presentations, fact sheets, reports and other communications materials to enhance the understanding of the client's mission and programs. Creating graphics, icons and other illustration material, digitally optimized and ready for the web and print use. Creating or refreshing templates for standard products such as fact sheets, brochures, flyers and reports. Creating infographics to visually depict program information for the intended audience. Establishing a central repository accessible by all employees for icons, graphics and design templates. Providing design services for agency booths, displays, banners or exhibits, to include updating booth graphics as needed. Ensuring all graphics and products created are Section 508 compliant. Assisting senior staff members in design and development of posters, exhibits, publications, photos, graphic designs, brochures, reports, and other outreach materials. Designing and developing presentations, partner templates, kiosks, speeches, and fact sheets. Coordinating the production process of all printed and interactive pieces. Performing additional duties as assigned in support of evolving contract requirements and client needs. Understanding the organizational policies and procedures for accuracy of solutions and deliverables to the client. Demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer support.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND TRAINING
Bachelor's degree in Art, Graphic Design, Information Technology, Media, Studio Art, or a related field
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
Three or more years of demonstrated experience Currently holds or has the able to obtain a DHS Fitness Determination Must have the ability to obtain the client's suitability A proficiency in utilizing MS Office products Proven familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts and responsible use of AIassisted tools Excellent written and verbal communication skills A highly motivated selfstarter Must be motivated and have excellent customer service skills
