Job Description

Overview The Federal Way Performing Arts and Event Center (PAEC) is seeking a highly organized, creative, and experienced Graphic Designer to support the Marketing department. The Graphic Designer works closely with the marketing team to create visually engaging materials that support ticket sales, brand awareness, and community engagement. Projects may include season branding, show graphics, digital advertising, social media content, print collateral, signage, email graphics, and other creative assets. This role pays an hourly rate of $37.50-$42.50 Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan, 401(k) matching. This position will remain open until August 28, 2026. Responsibilities Design and produce marketing materials for performances, events, and community programs. Develop visual assets for the PAEC's annual season announcement campaign. Create digital ads, social media graphics, email graphics, posters, flyers, signage, and other branded materials. Maintain brand consistency across all marketing channels and promotional campaigns. Collaborate with marketing staff, promoters, artists, and external partners on creative projects. Prepare production-ready files for print and digital distribution. Assist with photo editing, layout design, and visual content organization. Support rapid-turnaround creative requests for performances and events. Qualifications 2-3+ years of professional graphic design experience preferred. Strong portfolio showcasing digital and print design work. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Experience designing for social media, email marketing, and print production. Strong typography, layout, and branding skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Experience in entertainment, performing arts, live events, or hospitality marketing is a plus.
