We tell our client's stories through digital, print, and social media. We're located in Delavan, a small town in Southeast Wisconsin, but supports clients all over the Midwest. YOU:
You're a fun, personable individual with experience creating unforgettable designs ranging from logos to responsive websites. Someone who loves to learn and dive into the diverse industries that make up our client list. Can manage tasks and deadlines while laughing at (enduring) the boss' really bad jokes. Overview As a member of Signalfire's creative team, you will work and collaborate with an account manager/project manager and other teammates to provide creative marketing assets for clients. Our ideal candidate will love doodling fresh designs, bringing a creative eye, and is eager to stay on top of the latest trends. In addition to creative design, you will help with everyday marketing graphic needs. From photo web optimization for social media to making a brochure press-ready, you will have the opportunity to work in a wide range of specialties. Having experience with (or willing to learn) WordPress will be a tremendous help. Responsibilities Create and manage print, web, and other graphics for clients Assist in the creation of branding materials including logos and identity materials Create website user experience designs and email newsletter templates Creation of website graphics, social media images/videos, and photo editing Participate in and occasionally lead creative brainstorming sessions Expectations Meet with clients in-person and via Zoom calls to gain creative insight into projects and client businesses (may involve crowded spaces, manufacturing shops, or outdoor environments) Rare regional travel to client locations Approach creative assignments with enthusiasm and professionalism Ability to work equally with unbridled creative freedom or strict client brand standards Strict attention to detail from spelling to typography Self-manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities Open to feedback from internal teammates and client review Communicate with website developers or print vendors to ensure quality Have a continual learning mindset to embrace new methods and technologies Qualifications Two or more (2+) years of graphic design experience in an agency or in-house marketing department Strong professional portfolio (not student work) Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) Expert use of Figma or other user experience platforms Experience with MS Office (or Google Workspace) Experience with time tracking and project management tools (we currently use Teamwork) Bonus Points Additional experience with any of these will be helpful, but not required: Experience with WordPress, WiX, or Shopify Experience with Campaign Monitor, Klaviyo, or MailChimp Photography and/or videography Video editing (including color correction, sound, and composition) Compensation $45,000 - $48,000 per year Health insurance available after 90 days Optional vision / dental 401(k) Open PTO policy Application Process Signalfire has a three step hiring process including a video interview, an in-person interview, and a final group-interview.
