Graphic Designer

Overview:

Under the direction of the President the Senior Graphic Designer will work on all brand graphics that fall under Fromm Family Foods, Foxtown - GBC (Foxtown Brewing, Foxtown Heritage Meats, Foxtown Station, Annex /Renard's). The Designer will lead and organize the team and be responsible for ensuring created Graphics hold true to the brand. They will be a point of contact, guiding other designers, addressing questions, adding commentary / input to designs, ensuring the design resonates with our target audience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Strong knowledge of branding principles and previous experience with package printing and digital marketing. Advanced typography skills across a range of print formats including menus, large-format signage, multi-page documents, and packaging Communicate daily with team of designers, prioritizing projects, providing feedback and or collaborating on projects, while meeting deadlines. Ensure high standards across all work produced so that work is cohesive, consistent, and aligns with accepted brand standards. Maintain a clear understanding of project objectives from ideation through completion. Have a strong understanding of the whole Graphic Design process from start through printing / posting. Proven management skills guiding, training, and developing a team of designers. Creating a fun and imaginative environment. Able to execute the creative vision of others as well as contribute to creative group discussions and develop solutions. Ability to accept constructive criticism and provide constructive feedback. Have the ability to effectively execute multiple creative projects in a fast-paced environment. Maintain consistent and open communication with internal team on project status and needs. Contribute to the collaborative and supportive company culture. Attend various Graphic meetings as necessary. Will direct workload to meet due dates and ensure deliverables are met, keeping necessary management informed. Will understand aspects of Graphic Print Production. Familiarity with email marketing platforms (Fromm uses HubSpot) and campaign asset production Oversee print production from file preparation through vendor relationships, vendor communication and press approvals. Develop wayfinding, environmental graphics, and venue signage systems across multiple hospitality locations. Design and produce event collateral including signage, programs, sponsorship materials, and on-site branded assets for large-scale consumer events Maintain recurring content production cycles including monthly promotional materials, event calendars, weekly digital display updates, and other time-sensitive brand assets Concept and illustrate original artwork for beer labels, packaging, and other brand identity applications Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree Graphic Designer or related field Minimum of 2+ years of graphic design experience. (with demonstration of increasing responsibilities) Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat) Other creative disciplines are a plus: video, photography etc. Must provide a portfolio of work product, that demonstrates skill and creativity. Has been a mentor to others. Confident presenting work and creative rationale to leadership. Strong attention to detail.
