VA/VE Engineer

This VA/VE Engineer will:

Conduct VA/VE workshops to identify potential cost reductions or product improvements. Work with plants to optimize current processes and reduce scrap. Investigate alternative designs to maintain performance while reducing cost and weight. Manage all technical aspects of a major project and/or multiple smaller projects. Coordinate the technical design and test aspects on the project with suppliers and customers. Design, validate, provide test reports, and sign-off documents, and ensure production readiness. Coordinate with CAD, FEA, and laboratory personnel and interface with other department in support of the above. Coordinate the technical design and test aspects on projects with suppliers and customers. Help to assure safety in the lab and office. Other duties as assigned.

The successful candidate will possess:

Bachelor of Science degree in technical discipline required BSME/BSAgE/BS AeroE preferred 2 years' experience in vehicle structural design (preferable heavy or medium duty truck) with exposure to dynamic structural analysis, finite element analysis, fatigue analysis, and product design. In accordance with applicable pay transparency laws, the salary range for this position is $70,000 - $145,000 annually. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, qualifications, and other job-related criteria. This pay range is provided to ensure transparency and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
