Job Description
In the SSTL role, the candidate will be responsible forleading the development and adherence of quality/cost/timing/function deliverables for the Frame and CVA components/systems on a given program(s). They will be responsible for the team's on-time delivery at each milestone from concept through vehicle launch including presenting progress to management and senior leadership. Project management key process indicators (KPI's) and cost/weight/investment (C/W/I) efficiency will be utilized to monitor success. Technical oversight responsibilities include component design (FMEA), analysis (CAE), vehicle packaging (NX), model/drawing integrity (Teamcenter), Product Assurance Plan (PAP), component validation (DVP&R), change management (CN), engineering bill of material (EBOM/CODEP), build support, issue management (GIMS), fastened joint design, and assembly torque development. The SSTL will be required to support pre-production and production builds onsite at domestic and international assembly plants based on program needs. Product scope includes frames, crossmembers, hitches, skid plates, tow hooks, spare tire jacks, winches.
Basic Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalentMinimum of 8 years of professional automotive engineering experienceProficient in DFMEA, DVP&R, PDP, change process (ODM/CN/CCD) tools and processesProficient in technical aspects of structural component designincluding DFMEA, DVP&R, product development processes, change management tools and processDemonstrated team leadership abilities including the ability to set targets, evaluate/identify gaps to existing targets, and lead solution activityAbility to travel to supplier locations and Stellantis plants to support project both domestically and internationallyProficient with
Microsoft OfficePreferred Requirements:
