Description The Product Engineer at Armstrong International plays a critical role in the development, enhancement, and support of our product portfolio. This role requires a mix of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure our products meet customer needs and maintain the high-quality standards Armstrong is known for. Key Responsibilities
- Find Design, develop, and enhance products to meet customer and market requirements.
- Collaborate with the engineering, manufacturing, and sales teams to ensure product feasibility and alignment with business objectives.
- Conduct testing and validation of products to ensure performance, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
- Provide technical support to the sales team, customers, and field service representatives.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize product designs and processes.
- Prepare detailed engineering documentation, including drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
- Willingness to learn or train in the position.
- Must have the physical and mental stamina to stand, walk, lift, and adjust to the noise and lighting of the manufacturing environment.
- Other duties as assigned and not limited to just the above. Key Requirements
- Proficiency in SolidWorks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in product design, development, or engineering. Education Level Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Experience Level 5 years Benefits
