Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented draping assistant to join our creative team! This will be the launch of Ade's Draping Society and we want to create a dramatic first impression. For now this job is temporary
FOR ONE DAY.
If selected the day of the event will be shared. This role is perfect for someone passionate about visual arts, event design, and supporting innovative projects. Your energy, organization skills, and enthusiasm for art and design will help elevate our creative initiatives and support our talented team members. Duties Design and create custom drapery and window treatment solutions based on client needs and project requirements. Measure windows and document project specifications accurately. Perform draping, fabric styling, and treatment layout to achieve the desired design aesthetic. Prepare and review work orders to ensure accuracy before production and installation. Coordinate with clients, installers, and production team members throughout projects. Assist with project follow-ups, revisions, and scheduling as needed. Maintain detailed project records, measurements, and design notes. Ensure all drapery projects meet company quality standards and client expectations. Qualifications Previous experience in draping, event décor preferred. Experience working in the events industry, including weddings, corporate events, galas, trade shows, or special events, preferred. Knowledge of draping techniques, fabric handling, installation methods, and event styling. Ability to accurately measure spaces and visualize draping designs. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to lift and carry draping materials, equipment, and décor items as needed. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on event schedules. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Pay:
$400.00 per day
