Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a dedicated work ethic, an upbeat, positive outlook, and a personal commitment to quality. Position Requirements Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Microsoft Office Suite. Bachelor's degree in Engineering is ideal; Associate's degree in CAD Technology or a related technical field is acceptable. Equivalent related work experience will also be considered. 3-5 years of experience in product engineering and/or new product development. Must be able to travel abroad 2-3 times a year, potentially, plus domestic travel to trade shows 2-3 times a year. Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally; 3D hand sketching is a plus. Ability to apply engineering principles, methods, and best practices in a manufacturing environment. Ability to manage and complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and high attention to detail and quality. Ability to work in a collaborative team environment with engineers, designers, and manufacturers. Willingness to learn, improve, and adapt to an evolving industry. A responsible, enthusiastic, and self-motivated attitude. Must be flexible and open-minded. Must be able to work daily in our offices in Wappingers Falls, NY 12590. US citizen or permanent resident (no Visa sponsorship available). Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To Review first-run sample fixtures. Manage compliance documentation. Perform sustaining engineering on existing products. Work between Engineering and QC to drive product improvements. Manage engineering change orders (ECOs). Check and verify product data and specifications. Update company standards and factory manuals. Develop training materials for Account Managers. Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues as they arise. Perform hands-on assembly and disassembly of fixtures. Create and check assembly instructions. Other duties as assigned.
