Mid-Level Industrial Designer HiCORP Inc. Mid-Level Industrial Designer - Retail Displays Help Us Redefine the Retail Experience At HiCORP Inc. , we don't just build retail displays—we design experiences that shape how consumers discover, engage with, and purchase products. Our work lives on the retail floor, reaches millions of shoppers, and is engineered to perform in real-world environments. We are seeking a Mid-Level Industrial Designer to join our growing design team. This role is ideal for a designer who thrives at the intersection of creativity, engineering, and manufacturing—and who understands that successful retail design must be visually compelling, cost-effective, and production-ready. About the Role As a Mid-Level Industrial Designer, you will
  • Be responsible for designing custom retail displays and store fixtures from concept through production
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure designs are engaging, feasible, and aligned with client budgets and manufacturing constraints This is a hands-on, collaborative role that offers exposure to the full lifecycle of retail display development. Key Responsibilities
  • Design custom retail displays and store fixtures that balance visual impact, functionality, and scalability
  • Translate concepts into high-quality 3D models, renderings, and visual presentations to support client reviews and approvals
  • Collaborate with sales, estimating, engineering, and manufacturing partners to align design intent with cost, materials, and production requirements
  • Support prototyping efforts, including reviewing factory samples and refining designs based on testing and feedback
  • Contribute to building or assembling displays in the showroom, and internal prototypes as needed
  • Stay current on pricing of materials (CMF), construction methods, and retail trends across wood, metal, plastics, wire, graphics, and digital displays
  • Ensure design accuracy and consistency from concept through production release Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design , Product Design, Product Development, or a related field
  • 3-5+ years of professional experience in industrial design, retail display design, or a related discipline
  • Proficiency in relevant design modelling and visualization tools.
  • Ability to communicate design intent clearly to internal teams, clients, and factory partners
  • A portfolio demonstrating strong design thinking, build awareness, attention to detail, and real-world execution What Sets You Apart
  • Demonstrated experience designing custom retail displays and store fixtures
  • Strong understanding of CMF (Color, Material, Finish), with working knowledge of material cost drivers and manufacturing trade-offs
  • Exposure to AR and VR applications, with the ability to apply immersive technologies to design visualization or experiential concepts
  • Proficiency in industry-standard tools, including Rhinoceros, KeyShot Studio, Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator, Figma, and Microsoft Office
  • Hands-on experience using 3D printing to create rapid prototypes for concept validation and functional testing
