Job Description

Product Coordinator Job Description We are looking for a Product Coordinator to join our SITKA Gear team in Bozeman, Montana. This role supports the end-to-end development process for technical outdoor apparel, gear, and footwear. The Product Coordinator will work closely with product line managers, design, and development to bring innovative and high-performance outdoor products from concept to commercialization. Ideal candidates are detail-driven, organized, and passionate about building product.
Pay Rate:
$30/hr
Responsibilities:
Assist product team in updating and maintaining our PLM system with accurate style information throughout the development cycle. Partner with design to ensure accurate transition of concepts into development-ready specifications. Support Product Development with tracking, organizing, and following up on samples and construction details. Update and maintain our product database with accurate style information throughout the development cycle. Record, implement, and communicate sample comments to cross-functional teams and vendors. Help monitor product calendars to ensure on-time delivery of samples, approvals, and production hand-offs. Maintain digital and physical sample libraries, fabric records, and trim archives. Prepare materials for design reviews, proto reviews, Go-to-Market meetings, Sales Meetings, and production meetings. Coordinate meeting schedules for internal reviews and fittings. Assist with preparing outgoing shipments. Coordinate with overseas and domestic factories to clarify technical details, sample requests, and timelines.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Apparel Design, Product Development, Textiles, or related field. 1-2 years of experience working in apparel or outdoor related fields. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Excel, and PLM systems. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Clear communication and cross-functional collaboration. Desired Qualifications (if applicable): Experience with outdoor, technical, or performance apparel categories. Understanding of garment construction, technical apparel, and materials. Strong communication skills and comfort working with global vendors.
