Part Time Graphic Design Consultant Huxley & Kent Knoxville, TN Job Details Part-time | Contract $25 - $45 an hour 21 hours ago Qualifications Graphic design Managing design projects Visual communication design Managing projects Professional art or design Developing new products Full Job Description Huxley & Kent, located in Knoxville, TN is looking for a creative, organized, and experienced Graphic Design Consultant to work with our team on an ongoing, part time basis. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys bringing products from concept to reality, graphic design and wants the flexibility of contract work while collaborating with an established and growing pet brand. This is a part time consulting position paid on an hourly basis. The position is not a W2 employee role. We are looking for someone located in or near the Knoxville, Tennessee area who can occasionally meet with our team in person. This is a work from home position. What You'll Work On This project based job may include: Assist designing new accessories, apparel, and gift products Support for head designer and marketing manager Developing product concepts from initial design through production Graphic design projects for brochures, catalogs, signage, sales presentations and marketing materials. Prepare production ready artwork and specifications for factories, including pattern scale and color standards. Prepare PDF/Powerpoint product presentations and concepts. Reviewing product samples and recommending improvements Product photography for brochures and catalogs Maintain searchable digital library of samples and tech packs Qualifications We're looking for someone with experience in: Consumer product design and development Graphic design Preparing production ready artwork and specifications Managing multiple projects and deadlines Working independently while collaborating with a small, entrepreneurial team Preferred (but not required) Pet industry experience Textile or fabric pattern design Product sourcing and manufacturing experience in China Retail display design or visual merchandising Packaging design Photography or product rendering About Huxley & Kent Huxley & Kent is a women owned pet lifestyle company that designs fun, fashionable, and functional products for dogs and cats.
