Job Summary Responsible for all Home & Garden, Companion Animal, Aquatics and International production work within Creative area . Must have a keen eye for detail and technical know-how . M ust work quickly in a fast - paced environment with high attention to detail . Needs a strong typographic and layout skillset as well as outstanding organizational skills. Collaborates closely with the Production Manager, Art Directors and Proofreader s / Copywriters. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Assist Senior Production Artist with training full-time and contract production artists on procedures and standards Collaborate cross-functionally to support production needs and ensure alignment across teams Manage assigned projects and timelines to meet deadlines and deliverables Develop layouts that adhere to brand standards and packaging specifications Execute all production work for SPX packaging components and POP/creative requests from concept through final output Gather reference materials, set up job folders, and maintain accurate documentation Flow copy and design into approved dielines in partnership with Package Engineering Ensure accuracy of barcodes, regulatory copy, and required registration numbers Apply and maintain compliance with EPA, FDA, State, and Fair Packaging and Labeling Act standards Implement revisions from Legal, Regulatory, R D, and Marketing teams Prepare and route files for approval through electronic proofing systems Proactively identify and resolve artwork or print production issues; escalate as needed to Art Directors Coordinate translation projects across multiple product lines and languages Partner with Marketing to define project requirements in WorkFront Produce packaging for shippers, displays, and mockups; support development of presentation-ready prototypes Support print specification approvals and maintain design integrity throughout production Create mockups, renderings, and retouched assets; upload to image library Other duties as assigned Education and Experience Profile Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or other related field At least four years of experience as a Production Artist Basic creative background to help bridge communication between Production and Design Proficient in Creative Cloud Consumer products background with experience in the home & garden or pet industry a plus Required Skills Knowledgeable in all areas of production, practices and procedures Be a process-oriented self-starter Able to accurately produce and proofread work Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced team-oriented environment Strong communication and writing skills to facilitate collaboration with teammates and colleagues Strong time-management skills Ability to take direction well and incorporate feedback Strong ability to work across the organization and foster teamwork Ability to work well in a team setting and independently Well organized and detail-oriented Self-motivated Positive, can-do attitude Passionate, flexible, creative Work Environment Working conditions are normal for an office environment and include opportunity for a hybrid work model (remote/in-person). We are dog friendly, and work in office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week.
