A Product Designer is responsible for the design of a new product, or redesign of an existing product. Responsible for the aesthetics of the product but also designing how it will work, defining the problem and solving it. May be responsible for producing low-fidelity mock ups, prototypes for validation through user testing and crafting the final product accordingly.

LP Job Summary:

This role focuses on creating intuitive and efficient user experiences for professional tax accountants, translating complex workflows into clear interfaces. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define problems, explore solutions, and iterate on designs based on user feedback. The position requires a strong understanding of design systems and the ability to de-risk design decisions through prototyping and testing.

Key Responsibilities:

Design user journeys from concept to final execution for tax professional software. Simplify complex data-heavy tax and accounting workflows into user-friendly interfaces. Partner with product, engineering, and research to solve design challenges. Contribute to and maintain a consistent design system across products. Utilize prototyping and testing to validate design choices before development.

Must-Have Skills:

Proven experience designing complex B2B software. Demonstrated portfolio showcasing end-to-end interaction and systems design. Comfort designing for power users with dense data and complex task flows.

Industry Experience:

Experience in the financial technology or accounting software domain is preferred for this role.
