Job Description •
Data Integrity & PDM:
Manage version control and engineering change orders (ECO) within a PDM/PLM environment to ensure model accuracy across teams. •
Subsystem Integration:
Create and implement interface control documents and other reviewable and auditable standards to facilitate the seamless integration of the work of different single threaded owners into the complete product model. •
Drawing Generation and Review:
creation, inspection, and correction of part and assembly drawings associated with multiple model configurations. •
Manufacturing Integration:
Collaborate with the Manufacturing Leads to ensure all automated outputs follow DFM/DFA (Design for Manufacturing/Assembly) principles. •
Performance Optimization:
Implement "Large Assembly" best practices to ensure high-performance model stability even when dealing with 10,000+ parts. •
Architect Complex Parametric Models:
Develop and manage sophisticated master assemblies using advanced SolidWorks techniques like skeleton modeling, layout sketches, and multi-body part design. •

Expertise:
5+ years / 10,000 hours of advanced SolidWorks experience, specifically in complex assembly and configuration management, in medical, consumer or other rapid delivery industries. •
Certification:
CSWE (Certified SolidWorks Expert) or CSWP (Professional) strongly preferred. • Drafting standards: expert proficiency in
ASME Y14.5-2018
dimensioning and tolerancing standards. •
Mathematical Proficiency:
Strong background in geometry and math to handle complex parametric relationships and logic-based design rules. •
Technical Communication:
Ability to translate complex engineering logic into clear, usable CAD templates for junior designers. •
Engineering Proficiency:
mechanical, electrical, or aerospace engineering degree helpful but not required.
